 Reach Out Honduras believes that proper nutrition is essential to meeting the physical needs of our students.   Learning requires a full stomach.   The crushing poverty in our region means that some of our students do not eat 3 meals per day at home.   For this reason, the Abundant Life Feeding Program was born.

The Abundant Life Institute Feeding Program is coordinated by these beautiful cooks who are also mothers of our students.   These ladies arrive at 4:00 a.m. to prepare breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack for our students.  

Each school day our cooks prepare over 800 plates of food.  The food includes a nutritious vitamin-fortified rice.   Some of our students only eat what is provided at school.
