The mission of Reach Out Honduras includes 3 areas:
Our family currently works with orphans and vulnerable children in the town of Puerto Lempira, Honduras. Puerto Lempira is the largest town in the region of La Moskitia, primarily inhabited by indigenous Miskito Indians.
Christian Discipleship
Propelled and motivated by our faith in Jesus Christ, we share the love of Christ through relationships to encourage spiritual rebirth and transformation
Educational Opportunities
Reach Out Honduras works to provide a holistic education option for economically-challenged families in the La Mosquitia region of Honduras.
Sustainable Solutions
We believe in ‘teaching a man to fish’ whenever possible. Reach Out Honduras helps put together large community garden projects.
Additionally, through Reach Out Honduras, we host short-term mission teams and long-term individual volunteers/interns for specific projects or long-term service. Learn more.
