Meet Jesus Aguilar Galindo, one of our amazing math teachers and our 8th grade coordinator! This is Jesus’ 5th year at Abundant Life Institute and we are so grateful for the dedication and enthusiasm he has brought to our team around helping our students become competitive in Math. Over the last several years he has worked on training our students to compete in the Honduran Math Olympics, where we’ve had some big wins and gone all the way to nationals already! We are excited to see our students compete in person again this year. If the department wide competition goes well in August, we’ll be going to National’s in October, so stay tuned!! In La Mosquitia, Math teachers are few and far between, so we feel beyond lucky with ours!  Thank you, Jesus, for your dedication to your students and all you do to make math fun!
